Social Media Breakfast Saskatoon (SMByxe) #3

8:30 am – 10:30am, Friday, June 2, 2017 – Saskatoon Farmer’s Market

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN–Social Media Breakfast Saskatoon (SMByxe) is pleased to announce the June 2017 Topic: Let’s Make a Drone Video.

It seems like everyone has a drone these days, but they’ve become more of a nuisance for pilots than marketing goldmine. This is your chance to flip the perception and learn how using aerial technology correctly can grow your online visibility. Speakers from Icarus & Apollo Productions will discuss the principles of creating an aerial video followed by a live demonstration where the SMByxe community is the star attraction!

Professional aerial videographer duo, Icarus & Apollo Productions, will help you learn the process of creating an eagle-eye drone video from start to finish. Partners Trevor and Paul have worked on high-flying videos for farming, tourism, real estate, film, weddings and more. This interactive discussion will highlight how to capture aerial shots like a professional and let you in on the action with a live demonstration outside of the Farmer’s Market. Post breakout session, Trevor and Paul will put together a shareable video while answering audience questions.

A light breakfast of coffee and muffins will be available to attendees courtesy of our generous sponsor, d’Lish by Tish Cafe.

Seating is limited. Please RSVP at Eventbrite.

If you’re not able to attend, follow and join in on the discussion on Twitter @SMByxe via #SMByxe3.

“We are two Sasky boys who love our province and country through and through. We try and explore this land anyway we can, by foot, canoe, or quad. In the “Land of Living Skies” we were originally discouraged by being limited to the ground and water due to our design flaw as humans lacking wings. When we discovered quadcopters it allowed us to explore this beautiful backyard we have in an exhilarating new way previously unimaginable. We started Icarus & Apollo to share the views of this province and country that we thought would be selfish to keep to ourselves.”
